My story

Meet Jjong! | Apply to Adopt Me  Meet Jjong, a 1-year-old, 42-lb Jindo mix rescued from Siheung City Center. She’s a sweet, gentle soul who's just beginning to discover the world around her. Indoors, Jjong is calm, quiet, and a little shy. She takes her time exploring new spaces before settling in her crate or just outside the bedroom door. She has the softest way of taking treats—always lying down as she eats and carefully picking out goodies from her snuffle mat one by one before returning to her favorite cozy spot. Outside, Jjong walks nicely on leash but is still learning to feel comfortable in new environments.  One of the sweetest things about Jjong? She absolutely loves playing with other dogs. Watching her come out of her shell around canine friends is pure joy. And to top it all off—her adorably scruffy face and fluffy fur give her the cutest little beard you've ever seen! Come meet adoptable dogs from Korean K9 Rescue while enjoying complimentary snacks and beer (21+) in a relaxed, pet-friendly setting on Bowery. It’s a great opportunity to connect with our rescue team, learn more about our adoption process, and spend time with some of the incredible dogs looking for homes.   Saturday, June 7th – Yappy Hour at Spicy Moon Bowery Location: 265 Bowery, New York, NY 10002 Time: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM Pre-approved adopters: 1:00 PM – 1:30 PM The first 30 minutes of the event are reserved for pre-approved adopters.
