My story

Hi! I’m Bunchie aka Bunch aka Bunches of Cuteness. I’m a big boy despite being born a bobtail. I’m cuddly, funny and feisty with a heart of gold. My favorite thing is spending time with my human—napping together, getting nose kisses, cheek scratches and playing. Hide and seek is loads of fun! If you have thick skin and can handle some playful roughhousing, I could be your perfect match. Outside of time with my human, I LOVE having a window perch to watch birds and people, working on treat puzzles and giant boxes. I try to help my human understand my preferences in toys, food and when it’s play time vs. cuddle time. Bring out two wand toys, and I’ll let you know which one I want to play with each time. I squeak with excitement and hop to get in position to play like a big, lazy kitten, but my play time always requires my human. I make lots of adorable, unique sounds my foster mom said she’s never heard before. I sometimes grumble like a gremlin if I get overstimulated to let you know cuddle time is over and I’m ready to play. When I’m done with being pet, I gently paw at my human’s hand to let them know I’ve had enough pets. If my human doesn’t pay attention, I may get a little feisty to remind them. I try my hardest to be a good boy and my foster mom tells me I’m one of her all-time favorites. I’m litterbox trained and keep my food and litter areas clean. I love climbing as well as cardboard scratchers and sisal posts. I’m still healing from the loss of my original home and human(s), so I worry when my human leaves that they may not return. I can show signs of fear of abandonment through frustration, so I’m looking for a patient and understanding human who will spend lots of time with me, reassuring me while also paying attention to my cues. Because of this, I don’t want to share my human(s) with other pets and I need a home with no young children. Bunchie is neutered, rabies and FVRCP vaccinated, FIV/FeLV negative and microchipped. He is approximately 8 years old. Adoption fee is $125. Fostered in Colorado Springs but available for adoption anywhere in CO. Apply today at https://www.fromforgottentoforever.com/catadoptionapplication/

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Bunchie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
