My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:I have lived with cats.I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.I prefer to call the shots and enjoy coming to you when I'm ready for pets.I'm sensitive and shy. I'll need extra help from you.Batman tolerates attention and petting but appears fearful or stressed in the shelter. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents and due to the behavior shown, he may not be a great fit for young children. My current foster writes: Batman was very shy when we brought him home, but after giving him the time and space to feel comfortable and safe, he has started coming out of his shell. He loves cuddles and pets and really just wants a human to nap with. When he feels ignored, he reminds you he's there, making uniquely charming chirping sounds and head butting you to get pets. He's energetic and sweet, but takes his time to warm up to new spaces. We know he'll relax fully once he finds his furever home.
