My story

My foster writes: Dora is the sweetest cat ever. She is a tad dramatic and will plop herself down, roll around and act cute on purpose to get people to pet her. When you stop, she gives the most devious look and goes back to acting cute. She likes to sit on the couch and sprawl out and relax most days. She's a very small cat and many people are surprised at her age given her behavior and size. She is the cutest cat and she gets compliments every time people come over!My Previous Foster Wrote: Dora has come a long way in 2 months... and while you won't see this behavior in the shelter we now have a late night routine. Sweet Dora tip toes into the bedroom, I dangle my arm off the edge of the bed and she head butts my fingers asking for a little scalp massage. She then steps away, throws herself on the rug, wiggles onto her back and shows me her belly while purring! It's at this moment, I have to contain myself because all I want to do is crawl onto the floor next to her. But we both know she's not ready for that yet. The final part of this nightly routine is when Dora jumps onto the love seat and sets herself up for the night. She sinks into the pillow and curls into the tiniest little ball. Sometimes she sits like a bread loaf and rests her chin and watches me with her golden eyes until I turn off the light. She's learning that sleeping in a nice warm bedroom is way better than a cold tiled floor. I have lots of little beds for her but she never gets in them but rather sleeps on top of couch and pillows. She loves throwing her little stuffed mice toys around and when I wake up in the morning the toys have all moved into different locations.She is just the sweetest little cat and in my observation I feel she will need a quiet home with patience and another kitty to listen to her chattiness.
