Onyx

My story

*Onyx is in Puerto Rico, and his adoption fee includes flying him to his approved home* Meet Onyx! Oh wow... if you want a LOVE, FRIENDLY, and GOOF of a dog, Onyx is your boy! He is so great with other dogs and loves people! We don't know if he is cat friendly, but he walks well on a leash and travels wonderfully in the car. He needs a ACTIVE home, and someone / people that love to be outdoors running, playing on a beach, throwing a ball and then --- CUDDLE. :) Onyx was discovered being "dumped" in Puerto Rico and chased his loser of a person down the road. :( He attempted to get into other cars that slowed down, and we were called to quickly rescue him and get him to safety. He is suspected to be a black lab mix (and has the energy of a typical lab), under a year old, and he is an incredible dog being so loving and friendly. He has been neutered and is checked by the vet to ensure he is healthy; he's also on his monthly preventatives, so he's ready to start strong in his new home. We have noticed that he is a bit uncertain around new men, and it takes him a moment to decide they won't hurt him before he'll show his true personality around them. But, girls?
