My story

Meet Ben! Ben has cerebellar hypoplasia, a neurological condition that affects the cerebellum and causes uncoordinated movement. This condition doesn't cause pain, shorten lifespan, or lessen a cat's quality of life when given the right environment to thrive in. Ben loves life and plays hard! We are looking for a forever home for Ben that has experience with CH cats, or is eager to learn. Ben requires an environment that is forgiving to trips and falls with lots of soft surfaces and floors that provide traction. Ben also needs easy access to his resources like litter, food, and water, as well as vertical climbing surfaces with safe routes up and down. A young cat companion would be ideal for Ben so that he has a playmate and someone who can help him build and maintain his core strength and balance. Ben will always be wobbly, but the more he practices, the better he will get!
