My story

Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue Meet Bluebelle! We were contacted about this poor 7 year old girl whose owner could not/would not properly care for her. This sweet senior girl is ready to let her light shine and find the home she so desperately wants and deserves. Bluebelle gets along great with children, and has done well with her caretaker's boxer. She knows basic commands such as sit, and give paw. She walks well on a leash and listens well. She is a very loyal dog, who loves her people, and anyone she meets. She does have a history of roaming so she will need a home where she can be appropriately confined in a fenced yard where she is not left alone long enough to get bored and curious. Meetings with her can be arranged with approved adopters. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many  that are not posted yet.  Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives.  No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so).  We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.   We are always in need of donations to help us continue to save hundreds of cats and kittens every year.  Visit bit.ly/DonateFLR for more info.
