Marathon

My story

Marathon has a sweet face. It is so sweet it made him seem super innocent and a little scared when we first met him. Ha, jokes on us. Marathon is a good time, every time. He has serious athletic skills too. Marathon gets little bunny hops when he is excited. We think he could easily do marathon training with a running partner. Marathon is so friendly. He likes to say hello to anyone that walks into his view. He loves snacks too and his belly is the easiest way to his heart. Western Ave. Chicago, IL *The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID. *All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up to date rabies vaccination for your dog or dogs. *Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
