 Quick Facts  Name: Sunshine Age: 3-4 years old (born October 2021) Gender: Male Neutered/Sprayed: Yes Breed: Labrador Color: Beige Weight: 30kg My Story I’m Sunshine, a big, friendly 2-year-old Labrador boy, and I’m as warm and bright as my name suggests! With my sleek beige coat and a hearty 30 kg (66 lbs) frame, I’m full of love and energy. I was rescued from a tough spot at Bucheon City Animal Shelter just before it was too late, and now I’m ready to find my forever family. My Personality I’m a social butterfly who loves meeting new people. Whether you’re a friend or a stranger, I’ll happily come up for pets and even roll over to show you my belly. I thrive on affection and enjoy being close to my humans. I’m a gentle giant at heart, but when I get excited, I can forget my size—so I’d love a family who can guide me to channel my energy. Around Other Dogs I’m polite with other dogs but not overly interested in their company. I’ll greet them with enthusiasm but prefer to focus on my human friends. My heart belongs to the people I love, and I’d much rather play fetch or snuggle up with you than join in doggy games. Daily Adventures With my high energy level, I love outdoor activities and long walks. I do pull on the leash a bit, but I respond well to gentle corrections and am learning to walk nicely. I’m strong but not stubborn—I aim to please, so training me is fun and rewarding! After a good adventure, I’m happy to settle down and relax at home. At Home I have a playful side and love carrying things around, especially bowls or toys. I’m already a pro at basic commands like sit, wait, lie down, and paw, and I’d love to keep learning more tricks with you! While I don’t have food aggression, I do eat with gusto, so I might need reminders to slow down.  If you’re a guy with a steady hand and a firm voice, I’ll likely bond with you quickly. I’m a big softie who wants to be the best companion I can be, but I need someone who can help me with boundaries and guide me as I grow.
