My story

The stars say that you'll be over the moon for Celeste! She is a sweet and gentle gal who loves affection and chin scratches. This gorgeous green eyed girl can be a little shy, so she is hoping for a family that is willing to be patient. If you'd like to meet Celeste, fill out an online application today. All of our cats and kittens go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. We do our best to update information on adoptable pets as frequently as we can. If you’re interested in a specific pet, we recommend that you call the shelter and ask if he or she still is available. Adoption questionnaires are processed in the order in which they're received.For current adoption fees, please see our website, www.metrodetroitanimals.org. Adoption fee includes: age-appropriate vaccinations, spay or neuter, microchip, ID tag, fecal / worming, basic physical and behavior assessment. Dogs (6 months and older) receive an occult heartworm test. For an additional $20, cats (12 weeks and older) can be tested for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) / FLV (feline leukemia).
