URGENT Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Acworth, GA Meet Bandit! He is an 4 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 50 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on shots, but isn’t on heartworm prevention. Bandit is hostile around strangers! No younger children, due to his reactivity! He hasn’t been tested around older children, cats or dogs. Bandit bit the owner’s father-in-law after he gave Bandit a treat and reached out to pet him. He is very protective of everyone in the household, especially the owner’s children. He gets anxious if they leave and he can’t go with them. The owner is surrendering him because he barks and growls at anyone who visits their home. He tends to resource guard when the owner’s children are around. He is also being surrendered because he bit the owner’s father-in-law. He needs to go by 1/31! If you think you can provide a great home for Bandit, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Bandit.
