Rescue Story • Sori was rescued from a shelter alongside her puppies Hunmin, Jeongeum, and Manse during a parvovirus outbreak. While her puppies were adopted into forever families, Sori, who was heartworm positive at rescue, has since completed treatment and regained her health at the shelter. 3. Personality & Habits • With People: Very timid around people. Trembles with fear when meeting strangers and remains cautious even with familiar people, but accepts gentle touch when approached calmly. • With Dogs: Fearful of dogs larger than herself. With familiar dogs, she prefers relaxing nearby rather than active play. • Separation Anxiety: None. Prefers being alone over being with people, as she is still fearful of humans. • House Training: Uses outdoor potty only at the shelter. • Hygiene/Grooming: Startles at the feeling of brushing and tries to run away, but tolerates nail trims calmly though nervously. • Walking on Leash: Often wants to return to the shelter as soon as the walk begins. She follows if guided but shows anxiety, and hides from passing people or cars. • Car Sickness: Initially tense but relaxes and lies down over time; may have occasional bowel accidents during rides. • Biting: No biting behavior. • Barking: Barks at strangers who approach or stare at her due to fear. • Likes: Enjoys having a daily routine and eats all types of food without fuss. • Dislikes: Dislikes brushing and encountering unfamiliar people.
