My story

Meet Dignity, a sweet and shy 2-year-old Husky mix looking for her forever home. At 63 pounds, Dignity is a gentle soul who entered the shelter as a stray on 01-01-2025. She has since been spayed and is ready for her next chapter. Dignity was returned recently from being in a foster home for about 2 months until it was decided not a good fit as they believe she might not get along with males and cats. Though initially timid, Dignity is full of potential! With a little patience, she'll warm up and love being pet. She’s a bit nervous around new people, but once she gets to know you, she’ll be a loyal companion. She’s learning to trust, loves treats (and is treat-motivated!), and knows how to “sit” on command. Dignity can be a bit reactive to other dogs, so if you have one at home, a meet-and-greet will be required. She’s looking for a family that will take the time to help her build confidence and feel safe in her new environment. 🖤 Dignity is available for foster-to-adopt for up to 30 days.
