My story

Hi there! My name is Zeus, and I have a tale to tell. I was left tied up and alone outside of TLP Headquarters, but thankfully, the rescue took me in and is helping me learn about love, trust, and manners. I'm a young, very active guy, so my ideal family would be one that loves the great outdoors—hiking, exploring, swimming, and playing fetch. Oh, and I absolutely love balls! I've got to be honest with you—I'm not a fan of my crate. I'm trying to learn that it's my very own "condo," but it's still a work in progress. My trainer says I have a lot of puppy tendencies like jumping (we're working on that), chewing on bones, getting the zoomies, and still need guidance to understand my boundaries. My trainer also says I’m a natural when it comes to exploring my environment with my nose. (Could be the tick hound in me) And that I want my human to guide me and give me direction. This is the way I create a bound and it’s very important to me. I really am a sweet boy that craves human affection and would love to be in a home with other doggos, kiddos, and of course, my adult humans. Together we can have the best happily ever after!
