My story

Hey, I’m Bentley! I’m a young Labrador and pittie mix, which basically means I am built to play. I’ll play with dogs, cats, older kids — honestly, I am just looking to be friends with everyone I meet. Since I’m still a puppy, I have a lot of energy and I’m hoping to find someone who is ready to help me learn how to channel it. I love mental stimulation like treat training, and I am always up for physical activity too. Walks, tug-of-war, or a good old game of catch all sound like a great time to me. I also love meeting new people, swimming, and running around in the backyard. My dream home would have a yard where I can zoom and play to my heart’s content, but I am flexible. What I would really love is a dog sibling, especially one who can help show me the ropes. I take notes very seriously and love to follow my dog friends closely. I am crate trained and sleep through the night like a champ. My foster mom says I can be a little mouthy sometimes, so I will need some reminders that fingers are not chew toys. I am working on it and I know that with consistency and love, I will grow into a polite and well-mannered young man. I am smart, curious, and full of personality. If you are looking for a loyal, loving pup who will keep you on your toes and fill your life with laughter, I might just be your perfect match. I hope we get to meet soon.
