My story

Say hello to Mochi, an adorable little sweetheart who was saved from an abandoned building in Crown Heights. Although she is an adult cat, she looks more like a little baby cat and is so easy to care for. Mochi will continually melt your heart with the cutest meows and wanting to curl up under your arm at night. She was fed as a stray at an abandoned building next to a community garden, where the members loved her so much that they knew she deserved to be in a loving home and get the attention and love that she deserves. The neighbors did not want to see her have to fight through a cold, harsh winter especially since she is a particularly small and gentle kitty. Mochi would be most content being a solo kitty in a home with a loving adopter(s). She will start out shy, but will warm up to you quickly in her furrever home! Mochi is about 5 years old and healthy, spayed, FIV-/FELV-, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and treated for fleas and parasites. She is missing some teeth, but that does not slow her down! If you're interested in meeting Mochi, fill out our application here:  https://brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms/ . Make sure you click on Mochi and identify CLAIRE as the RESCUER when you fill out the form! Thank you for considering a rescued angel! Every dime goes to save another homeless kitty on the street. If you have any questions or would like to adopt Mochi, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
