My story

Lego came into the rescue at 8 weeks old. He is now a 7 month old sensitive boy who loves nothing more to be in the company of his friends both dog and human. His foster family has introduced him to dogs of different sizes and ages where he has done well with being comfortable, playing and just fitting in! Things to know about Lego: He is currently working on crate training however we know his first couple days in his forever home will be a bit of a transition. It seems that he enjoys when his family is home more than when they are not currently so continuing to confidence build will be essential. He is mostly potty trained but as he is learning a new routine he will need positive reinforcement to continue. He is a puppy so his forever home sound be reminded that puppies this age need positive reinforcement, training, routine and more. Ensuring that this is something you are ready for is key. He would enjoy a home that is fairly active mixed with some cuddle time. Lego's adoption radius has been opened up. He is being fostered within Chicago but is adoptable out of state, however adopter is responsible for traveling to Chicago as we do not transport. If you are interested in being considered his forever home, apply directly. If you have any questions before applying please email adopt@chicagorescueauthority.org. Lego's adoption fee includes age appropriate vaccines, up to date on preventatives, deworming, neuter and microchip.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Lego, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
