My story

LuxTake a good look at my pictures. Do you notice something remarkable? I have perfectly symmetrical markings on my face and body. I am proud to have such an orderly white and grey fur arrangement. I like things to be even, predictable, never-changing, and quietly the same. I was adopted as a kitten from an animal shelter in Michigan. Now, at 6-years-old, I find myself at the HSHS animal shelter. Over the last five years, I have had periods of stress and anxiety. Going to the Veterinarian sends me into panic mode. Significant changes in the house, like a bathroom remodel, throw me for a loop. Being around young children gives me the willies. You can call me a `nervous nelly,` but worrying is one of my hobbies. My owner will tell you that I am a wonderful cat, but for my occasional litterbox avoidance. The HSHC staff have many suggestions for my new family about making me feel safe, secure, and confident. I can go for months without any accidents, and the doctors have ruled out a physical reason. I can be a very loveable companion, but I need a stable environment and regular routine to thrive. If you`re ready to commit, I`m ready to be a part of your family. 12-11-24
