My story

Meet Venus! Venus is a stunning 4-year-old Neapolitan Mastiff who turns heads with her soulful eyes and 94 pounds of pure presence. This gentle giant has a heart as big as her paws and is sure to steal yours if given the chance. Venus is currently in a board and train program to help build her confidence and work through some of her quirks—like getting a little overwhelmed with too much petting and relying on her stubborn streak to get her way. She’s learning that life is a lot better when she trusts her humans and lets them lead. Venus is looking for a home with an experienced owner who understands the needs of large, guardian-type breeds. She will thrive best as the only pet in a calm, adult-only household. We are prepared to support her new family with continued training if needed—her success is our priority. Our goal is to place her in a loving home straight from training so she doesn’t have to return to the shelter.
