My story

Meet this handsome fella, Nash. He has unique markings with blue eyes. He's a confident fella and may need gentle introduction to strangers. Once the ice is broken he is all yours with his friendly eager attitude. He is an athletic type with good energy and can jump with excitement when he wants. He knows how to sit and shake hands. He is neutered and vaccinated. He is approaching 3 yrs old and his weight is around 55-60 lbs. He was inside kept with his previous owner and is housebroken. Young children are not recommended due to his eagerness and initial guard toward strangers. He is good with other dogs and a generally happy happy dog! He also loves to go on car rides. We are a rural shelter with high intakes. As a result, the shelter dogs are not guaranteed safety. We do our best but, we need help. ADOPTION FEES APPLY- Dogs $150 - $175 Cats $90 (We are not set up for credit or debit payments.) Your calls are VERY IMPORTANT to us! The shelter is open Monday thru Friday from 9 - 3 p.m. except Thursdays (closed). Saturday hours are by appt. Adoption rates include a spay or neuter, vaccines, & deworming. Surgeries are mandatory! Families with young children must have fenced yards to prevent the accidental escape of pets.
