My story

Hi, I’m Sadie! 💛🐾I’m a sweet and loyal 7-year-old Shepherd/Yellow Lab mix with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. I may only have a few teeth left, so I’ll need wet food or softened kibble to keep me healthy and happy—but that doesn’t slow me down one bit!I’m wonderful with kids of all ages and small dogs, and I absolutely adore puppies. I’ve even been a foster mom to several litters! While I’m not a fan of other female dogs, and prefer smaller breeds to keep me company in general. I have shared an environment with a large breed male for a short period, but definitely need a proper, slow introduction and plenty of room to have personal space. I get along just fine with the right companions and have a confident, alpha personality. I’m brave when it comes to protecting my home, but thunderstorms, fireworks, and loud noises like gunshots make me really nervous. During those times, I just want to be close to someone who makes me feel safe.I prefer the cozy comforts of being an indoor dog and would love to be your loyal watchdog—I’m pretty quiet most of the time, but I’ll let you know if someone’s headed up the driveway. I’m housebroken, crate trained, and know how to use a doggie door. I also walk beautifully on a leash, and I load up and ride like a pro in the car. I’m a very smart girl and already know commands like sit, shake, sit pretty, and lay down.Some of my favorite things? Big comfy beds, lounging on the couch, and being your snuggle buddy during movie nights. Actual lineage and birth date are rarely known.Adoption Fees:-$60 for cats-$60 for dogs over 6 years-$80 for dogs 6 months old to 6 years-$100 for puppies up to 6 monthsCome visit our pets Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-2pm.
