My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.All of our adoptable animals are up to date on routine vaccinations, microchipped and spayed or neutered.  If the animal is too young a certificate for the spay/neuter is included in the adoption fee.  Please CLICK HERE to complete our online adoption application. Many of our animals can be seen at our adoption center located at 5820 Richmond Rd, Texarkana, TX on Saturdays between 10 am - 3 pm.  To make arrangements to meet any of our animals, please call us at 1-877-525-4825, option 2.   Texarkana Animal League is a 501c3 non profit and all donations are tax deductible.    Boo Boo is a very shy girl who will take patience and love to get her out of her shell and make her love you. Once you gain her trust, she is the sweetest little lap baby! She prefers to be the only dog because she gets jealous of anyone taking the attention off of her. She would not be good with kids. She has a history of abuse we think because she is so fearful of many things. Once she feels at home though she is a great little normal dog who wants to be with her person and give you all the love she has to give. She does not act her age at all. She has a young spirit. She's healthy and happy and ready to have her furever home! Her owner had her her whole life and then gave her away at 10 years old because he was "tired" of her!
