ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Channel 7 Eyewitness News has reported that Bonnie and Clyde are once again capturing public attention. This time, they are in search of a family willing to adopt them. This inseparable pair consists of lab mixes, each weighing around 75 pounds. They have been companions since their early days, but after a natural disaster disrupted their living conditions, their owners faced the difficult decision to surrender them to a rural shelter. They have since been transferred to Homeward Trails Animal Rescue, where they currently reside together in a foster home. These two senior dogs are eager to find a forever home where they can stay together, engage in play, and explore new surroundings. They enjoy napping, snuggling with people, and receiving affection. Both dogs are sociable with other dogs and are house-trained. They readily enter their crate and exhibit a friendly demeanor, suggesting they would adapt well to a family with children. Their shared interests include treats, running together, cuddling with their humans, going for walks, and watching television. Clyde has a penchant for chewing and appreciates a sturdy chew toy, while Bonnie often takes a toy and plays a game of "keep away," skillfully evading both Clyde and humans. Occasionally, they engage in a brief tug-of-war lasting about 30 seconds with a toy. Although they do chase balls in the yard, it does not resemble a conventional game of fetch; rather, it often turns into another round of "keep away" instigated by Bonnie, prompting Clyde to explore the area, with Bonnie soon following. They seem to enjoy the snow and have even had a few lively bursts of playfulness. Their greatest wish is to find a loving home where they can remain together. Could you be the caring family they are looking for?
