She goes in her crate without too much resistance, but doesn't love it and cries a bit. KNOWN LIKES: Other dogs, kids, LOVES hotdogs. She loves going on walks and snuggles. She's awesome on leash. KNOWN DISLIKES: Loud noises startle her ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Meet Viola! This sweet hippo was found as a stray and southern VA. One look at her soulful eyes and you can tell she is the sweetest. From her foster: She is absolutely terrific with my three dogs, loves to play, was initially timid with humans but now is an absolute love bug. It hasn’t taken long for her to completely adjust to family life! Great with all members of the family. Not tested with cats. She LOVES walks and is great on leash, and enjoys snuggle sessions! 🦛Viola’s vibe? Quiet girl energy. A little shy at first, but give her a minute (and a snack), and she’ll be your shadow. She loves other dogs, seems to be cool with kids, and would thrive in a calm home where she can let her personality shine. She’s basically a marshmallow in a dog suit, and we’re obsessed. 🦛Viola’s dream home? Somewhere with patient people, a dog buddy or two, a couch she can claim as her throne, and someone who understands that trust (and tail wags) take time.
