My story

Cricket & Pepper – Whiskered Soulmates Looking for a Forever Couch   If your heart has room for two souls in need of a second chance, meet Cricket and Pepper — a devoted pair who have spent their lives together and are now searching for a quiet, loving home to grow old in. These sweet senior tabbies have weathered change and heartbreak, but through it all, they’ve held tightly to each other. Now, all they want is a safe place to land, gentle hands to pet them, and someone to love them for the rest of their days. They’re not just looking for a home — they’re looking for healing, comfort, and a forever kind of love.   Cricket, 10 years young, is a classic lap cat who loves giving gentle kisses and locking eyes with you—literally. His stunning gaze shifts between cat green and turquoise like magic. He’s calm, cuddly, and the kind of guy who would bring you a cup of tea if he had thumbs. Pepper, 9 years old, is a uniquely beautiful tabby with unexpected swirls of orange—think tabby meets calico, aka tabbico! She’s a bit shy at first, but once she feels safe, she transforms into a feather toy-chasing kitten all over again. These two have been together since kittenhood and are deeply bonded—adoption is a two-for-one love story here. Sadly, after being adopted years ago, their previous family brought home a pair of rambunctious kittens that overwhelmed them. Cricket and Pepper ended up living in the attic (no thank you!) until one of their original fosters stepped in and reached out to Paws. Now, they’re safe and waiting for a soft landing to spend their golden years. They’d prefer a calm home with no other pets (especially no other cats—Pepper’s made her feelings known on that one), but what they really want is someone who will love them as much as they’ll love you. Both have had senior bloodwork and are in great shape!  Sponsored Pair! A portion of their adoption fee has already been covered by two kind donors. The adoption fee is just $100 for the pair. Cricket and Pepper are ready to fill your home with purrs, headbutts, and years of unconditional love. Could you be their happy ending? Cats are negative for FelV/FIV, receive age-appropriate vaccines and deworming, are spayed/neutered and are microchipped (free lifetime registration with adoption). All of our pets go home with a "Go Home Goody Bag" that includes a starter supply of food, treats, toys, and a voucher for a free month of pet insurance from Trupanion. Location: Manchester, CTAdoption Fee: $100 for the pair ##2201897##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Cricket (BONDED PAIR), please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
