TOAST*

My story

Toast is a shy guy who would like to find a home with a patient person or family who will help him build confidence and show him all the love he deserves. He’s come leaps and bounds since he first arrived at the shelter and is ready to continue his journey in a home of his very own!Here’s what a few of Toast’s friends have said:“Toast is such a sweetheart even though he’s nervous. He was headshy but wagging his tail as I was leashing him up. He even enjoyed some light petting. In the play yard he enjoys running around and having a good time. It’s nice to see him relaxing and being a dog.”“Toast is so sweet and overall he’s become very easy to walk. He is not reactive and settles into a loose leash walk. He will take treats cautiously and is easy to return to the kennel. Toast is still nervous and shy but has come a long way and is a very good boy!”“Toast is a sweet boy who really needs to get more life experience outside of the shelter. He’s come leaps and bounds since he first arrived at PACC, but there’s also only so far a dog can go in a shelter environment. Toast is working hard on being brave, and his goofiness is very endearing. I think he’ll thrive with the right person and a little bit of time.”Toast has made so much progress during his time at the shelter; he has gone from not walking on leash at all to enjoying his walks in the park more and more each day. He would love to continue to learn how to just be a dog in a real home environment!Toast shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been independent and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup.
