My story

Artemisia is the name of a large genus of plants that includes sagebrush, which was traditionally used for medicine, fuel and even as a primitive form of toilet paper. Our Artemesia strongly objects to that last use, but does offer something else- companionship!! This girl is as friendly as the come, loves people, and would love to be your adventure buddy in life! Here’s what one volunteer at the shelter said:“Artemesia is an energetic, athletic girl. She enjoyed zooming around the yard and chasingtennis balls. She’s very playful and wiggly, came over for affection and even tolerated brushing.”This smart, high-energy girl will thrive in a home where she can get plenty of mental and physical exercise. She’s very treat- motivated, which will make training that much easier! Artemesia would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. Ask to meet her today!
