My story

Ruckus is a 2-year old male Akita that is handsome fella, 60-pounds of gorgeousness! He has been placed in the isolated 700 block kennels in kennel #713 (no public access, minimal yard time) due to stress. His Animal ID number is #A590757. He was brought in by a citizen as a stray. Throughout his intake evaluation, he had a good attitude and connected with the trainer after about 25 minutes of earning his trust because he is a bit timid and unsure of people. The trainer touched his back, head and legs and he displayed no negative reaction. However, it is recommended that touch and any other actions should be on his terms and done slowly, especially while he is decompressing. Ruckus did well with meeting a male and female dog. He was easy to handle on leash around them. He really take in his environment and moves slowly around dogs and people.
