My story

MEET  MOZZI! Mozzi is a 3-year-old, 77 lb cattle dog mix who’s equal parts fun, loyal, and incredibly trainable. He’s the kind of dog who’s up for a car ride, a walk through the neighborhood, or just soaking in the sights by your side. Mozzi already knows commands like “heel,” “sit,” “shake,” and “lie down,” and he’s learning to walk politely on leash. He’s very food motivated, making continued training both easy and enjoyable. He’s friendly with people of all ages and does well with other dogs. Mozzi is crate and potty trained, and he handles public settings with ease. While he hasn’t been introduced to cats, a slow introduction may work well for him. My foster says: When excited, Mozzi sometimes “air bites” — a quirky habit common in herding breeds — but it’s all playful, never aggressive. He just needs someone who understands his breed and can help guide his energy in positive ways.
