My story

Hi! I'm Roxi! I'm an approximately 5 year old, female, Lab mix, who weighs around 66 Lbs. I was surrendered by my owners on 09/17/2024 because they were moving and could not take me. I am very excited to meet new people! I am a fun and playful girl who knows how to settle down once it's time to relax. I am always ready for a new adventure and enjoy a relaxing car ride! Whether it's a long road trip or a quick trip to the Quick Trip, I'm ready to zoom! I am a pretty low maintenance gal with an easy coat to care for. I enjoy a good bath and brushing and being pampered! Can someone say Spa Day?! You don't have to worry about me when you leave for work, I like to take that time when you are away to snooze and enjoy some Me time. I love kids and enjoy spending my time making them laugh! I am a social butterfly and enjoy hanging out and people watching. If you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along. I have been searching for my furever home for 266 days as of 06/11/2025 and am now considered a Diamond Dog! My adoption fee is $75. I am spayed, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination, basic boosters, and heartworm negative. Since I am in foster, meet and greets will be by approved application only. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption.
