My story

Dog sociability: Yes, after a proper introduction! She lives with a dog now. She was very afraid at first but became unbothered after a few weeks. In fact, it is a new game for her to pop out from a hiding place to arch her back and hiss at the dog, just to remind her who is boss around here! Cat sociability: Yes. She presently lives with a 16-year-old cat, who like the dog, regards her very neutrally. Taiga expresses curiosity about her once in a while, but they mostly ignore one another. Kid sociability: Probably not a good match. She can be defensive when she's afraid or overwhelmed. Likes: Wand toys, nooks and crannies, emphatic communication Dislikes: Big feet, small hands, sharing the catnip Bio: Taiga is a cat for cat people. It takes her a long time to trust (she did not have a great time in her first home), but once she knows she is safe, it is a joy to watch her come out of her shell. Taiga is not yet a lap cat, but will swim around your ankles every morning, blinking her pretty eyes at you, ready for a couple pets and then as much playing as she can con you into. She is goofy, and squirrelly, and makes a mean meatloaf. The adoption fee is $100. All cats are up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered, and microchipped.
