My story

Handsome hunk Brody is on the market! Brody was surrendered to ACCT Philly on 10/14 when his owners faced the devastating circumstance of losing their housing. With nowhere to go, they surrendered Brody in the hopes that a new family would find him and love him just as they did. Brody's owners described him as a one-of-a-kind boy. Ever the perfect family dog, Brody was a great companion to their children and even got along well with other dogs. Brody loves walks, cuddles, and treats - his previous family even said he's a bit of a health nut, enjoying the occasional snack of green and red bell peppers! After five years of living the good life at home with his family, Brody has had a hard time adjusting to his kennel. He puts on a "tough guy" act when you come to see him in his kennel, but anyone who takes the time to walk him and let him warm up to them will see the wonderful side of Brody - the sweet, shy, mellow boy who just wanted to be loved. While Brody gets used to his new environment, he needs a slow and gentle approach to make sure he feels comfortable - people rushing to pet or handle him makes him really nervous.
