Approximate Age: 4 years old Approximate Weight: 43lbs Meet Blakie, the adorable low-rider! ‼️ ADOPT ME ‼️ He has been with Ruff Patriots (volunteer professional dog training) the past few weeks and has perfected the commands 🫡 ☑️sit ☑️down ☑️place ☑️come ☑️heel ☑️crate He loves people and attention. He knows some fun cues: 👌🏼spin 👌🏼paw 👌🏼takes treats gently Things he’s really good at: 🫶house trained, no accidents, will cue to go potty 🫶leashed walks, excellent walk in heel, has shown no reactivity toward humans or dogs 🫶Keeps a clean crate 🫶Quiet in the crate 🫶Ecollar trained 🫶Muzzle trained 🫶Loves car rides 🫶Medium energy—enjoys long walks, playing or will place quietly 🚧A muzzle is recommended around dogs. With a muzzle he has shown little interest in dogs and will settle in place. 🚧He has shown resource guarding around other dogs with food, water, toys and people - with the right home and structure he will be a great companion. He has shown improvement here. 🚧He flourishes when boundaries are set. He should be invited to join on the couch or bed. TRAINING INCLUDED! Requirements And Donations - Required Adoption Day Items: A martingale collar and a non-retractable leash (available for purchase at ODHS). - Adoption Donations: Puppies (under 1 year): $375; Adults: $275; Seniors (age-dependent): $175; Select dogs: $500. We accept cash, debit, and credit cards. - Adoption Radius: Within 350 miles of Fredericksburg, VA. A $50 out-of-state fee applies. - Breed Identification: Dogs are listed as "Mixed Breed" unless formal documentation is available.
