My story

Meet beautiful 4 year-old brother-sister duo Ricky and Lucy! Ricky is very affectionate and LOVES to snuggle. He and his sister, Lucy, are inseparable and love to play, sleep and eat together throughout the day. If you’re home during the day, Ricky will take any opportunity to take one of his daily naps in your lap. He behaves more like a dog than a cat at times. He’ll come out and say hi to you when you call his name. Generally quiet throughout the day and purrs passionately when he’s being pet and scratched. He will happily make biscuits on you. He’ll follow you around like a little lamb. Ricky loves belly rubs when he’s stretching. He’ll get in your lap once you sit down and will sleep on you. Lucy is extremely sweet and curious. Her favorite time of the day to snuggle is after she’s had her breakfast and in the evening time after dinner. She loves chasing the laser pointer. Lucy is more cautious than her brother and will take a bit more time to warm up at first, but once she’s comfortable, you’ll have a forever cuddly kitty. She'll will meow if she hasn’t been cuddled in a while. She loves to curl up next to you and will stand on you if you’re laying down flat. She’ll snuggle for a bit in bed if there’s plenty of room.   Ricky and Lucy are a bonded pair and MUST be adopted together. No single applications will be considered.    Ricky and Lucy are fixed, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. If you’re interested in these cuties, fill out an application at www.brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms and designate Jennie AnneS as the rescuer.    Thank you for your interest in rescued kitties! All adoption fees and donations go to saving the next sweetie. November 6, 2024, 12:21 pm

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Ricky and Lucy, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
