My story

Hardy was found out on a solo adventure as a young pup. He was picked up and brought to doggie jail. Which is where we found this handsome lil guy. Somehow, he is still with us. So lets talk about this boy.  Looks - With the gorgeous chocolate red coat. Adorable ears that bounce when he struts his stuff. He's a knockout.  Personality - he has it for DAYSSSS. He is a high energy dog. Once he gets in a home with a big yard or a runner (which he's an excellent jogging buddy) that lets him expend his energy, he may be calmer. He's smart. He's a goofball that keeps everyone on their toes. Hardy very much embodies the Malanois personality characteristics, so he's likely not the dog for a first time dog owner or someone who wants to come home from work and hang out on the couch. Especially if he's spent all day in a crate waiting on you. He currently walks roughly 3-5 miles a day and is ready for more. Work Ethic - Hardy is really food motivated. What would ya do for a Klondike bar? Well, in Hardys case, it's anything you tell him to! Which is great because it makes training easier. You're asking, why he's still with us right? Everyone has quirks. Hardy's no exception. His first impression in his kennel is chaos. He wants to get out, go for walks, play fetch, cuddle. Which he doesn't get nearly enough of at the rescue.  Hardy wants to go on more adventures. There's a whole big world out there! But this time, he's hoping to find a human that loves adventures as much as he does. Someone to take him hiking, to the dog park, and hopefully lots of long walks/jogs to help him burn off his high energy.
