Heartworm Prevention is given on the 27th of each month China came to CTDR from a heartbreaking large-scale breeding and hoarding situation involving more than 80 dogs. This sweet girl is understandably scared and nervous as she tries to make sense of a world that is completely new to her. With patience, consistency, and kindness, China will need time to learn that she is finally safe. China has completed her initial vetting and heartworm treatment and is continuing to heal and gain confidence. She is a bigger girl and will benefit from a little “Weight Watchers” to help her lose a few extra pounds as she settles into a healthier routine.
