My story

Meet Max - your new best friend! His wonderful foster parents have made a bunch of cute videos too, check them out by scrolling to the end of his photos! Max is easygoing and calm, he loves being outside, whether it's walking, hiking, running, frolicking on the beach, or just sitting in a park. Afterwards, he enjoys snuggling up on the couch for kisses, pets, belly rubs and napping the day away. He's also the perfect gentleman when meeting other dogs, happy to say hi if he's allowed but respects his handler and other dogs' boundaries is he can't. Max is super food-motivated and has already learned "sit", "down", "stay", and "leave it". Max's wonderful fosters currently take him to weekly, private obedience training, where he's been improving his focus and perfecting his heel walking, amongst other things. He is house-trained, sleeps through the night, great on the leash, has strong recall off the leash, and a comfortable passenger in the car. He's a curious boy and nothing phases him, he's even been with his foster mama to a hair salon and sat patiently waiting by the chair amidst the commotion of other customers, blow dryers, and unfamiliar smells.
