My story

Paloma von Prezelle is a stunning, 3-year-old German Shepherd. This girl is the picture of beauty and smarts! In an almost human-like fashion, Paloma will offer you her paw when she wants attention—so charming. Likely housebroken, her hobbies include learning new tricks (she knows sit, paw and down), getting head scratches and exploring. Nothing is more exciting to this girl than the idea of going on a walk or adventure. Paloma walks well with other dogs and meets them okay. This medium-energy girl does best in playgroups with easygoing dogs; she avoids pushy or overly-energetic pups and hangs out with her calmer friends. She enjoys checking in with people too (for those head scratches she likes so much). Paloma wants to soak up all the attention you have and would love a home with people who appreciate the fine art of pets and walks (and no small dogs or cats). Mixes are "softer" and somewhat more malleable. Exceptions can be made, however, for first-time adopters who show the confidence and leadership tendencies that purebreds will respect and respond to. Counselors have to use good judgment in assessing the attributes of the adopter, as well as of the dog. If you have doubts, get a second opinion from Robin or another experienced counselor.
