Name: North Age/Sex: Dec 2023/F (Will be spayed by rescue) Breed: Husky x GSD as per previous O Weight: ~45lbs Medical Needs: Rear toe amputated due to previous infection. Doing great! Does not affect ability or function. Good with: Dogs! Kids! Dog savvy cats with training! NO DOG PARKS Hi, I'm North! I'm looking for my forever family, is that you? You: - Love the outdoors and adventuring! - Are a runner, or interested in pulling sports. - Want a dog that is always ready to go! - Love to train, and spend time on it regularly. - Don't mind shedding white hair...everywhere, lol! - Have a great sense of humour! - Like a dog with a bit of an independence about them. Me: - Love everyone! - Am very busy, and active! - Love my nightly dance sessions and snuggles. - Am go, go, go! - Shockingly not an active escape artist...but I am opportunistic! - Small, compact, and a great size for every activity! - I like the scent of human remains...maybe a little HRD in my future? - I get along with most dogs (some females I can be iffy with), and prefer smaller, known social groups. - Cats I should be okay with, with proper training and supervision. - Kids, bring 'em on! BUT make sure you supervise us, I'm bad at boundaries and will throw paws. If you aren't going to train me and them, it will not be a match. - I can be destructive if my needs aren't met. For those that have ongoing medical needs, all bloodwork and tests will be current, and a full refill supply of meds sent with the adopted pet. - Full 30/35lb bag of their current diet - Nylon Leash & Collar set - Training Collar - Biothane Leash, Collar, & Training Line set from MyLeash - Country Canine Treat Package All Adopters are required to attend formal obedience classes upon adoption.
