My story

Meet Chappie! This little resilient pup has come a long way. From being tossed out of a car on the side of the road to thriving in foster care, he`s a true survivor. In a prior home, he lived with teenagers and is reported to be a couch potato who loves snuggling. This `potato` also enjoys a good romp in a sprinkler and a session of fetch, as well as a varied selection of toys! He knows his basic commands, walks well on the leash and is completely house-trained.Chappie was emaciated when he started his journey at KCPP but those days are long behind him. He is a true a foodie now and very treat-motivated, but he does prefer solitude to enjoy his meals. Should you already have a dog or two, our shelter staff will help introduce him to any potential fur siblings, to be sure everyone gets along, just like they do for all the other dogs hereChappie is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped.
