My story

Say hello to Sissy, a sweet-natured and slightly shy senior Labrador Retriever mix, looking for a forever home where she can bask in love and comfort. Sissy has a gentle soul and, while she may be a bit reserved at first, she warms up to kindness and patience. She's the perfect companion for cozy evenings and peaceful walks. Due to her environmental and seasonal allergies, as well as food sensitivities, Sissy is on a special diet that helps keep her feeling her best. Her new family will need to continue this regimen to ensure she remains happy and healthy. Sissy would thrive in a calm and stable environment, ideally with someone who understands the needs of a sensitive dog. She might need a little extra time to adjust, but with gentle encouragement, she'll soon find her confidence. If you have room in your heart and home for this beautiful soul, come meet Sissy! Our dogs and puppies go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (7 months and over), and up to date on core vaccines, heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free-vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians.
