My story

Helloooo everyone! My name is Spoon! I am a 12 year old, spayed female, short-haired tabby with a heart as big as my personality. I was relinquished to MaxFund March 2024 by no fault of my own, and now I am looking for my fur-ever home!I’m a very special girl—affectionate, loving, and always ready to be part of your world. I adore being picked up and carried like a baby, one hand under my butt so I can perch over your shoulder and take in the view. If you love close, snuggly moments, we’re going to get along purrfectly! Oh, and did I mention I also love harness walks and belly rubs? Yep, I’m a one-of-a-kind, cool cat with a whole lot of love to give.At the shelter, I have an important job as Front Desk Supervisor—so when you come to visit, make sure to check in with me! I take my role seriously, greeting visitors and making sure everything is running smoothly. But as much as I love my job, what I’d love even more is a forever home where I can be the center of someone’s world.I do prefer to be the only pet—I like my space, my person, and all the love to myself. I also have some special dietary needs due to allergies, so I’ll need a little extra care to keep me feeling my best. But trust me, I’m so worth it!Due to my needs, I am available as Short-Term Foster with intent to adopt.
