My story

Hi, I`m Frito! I originally came to the shelter after being dumped by a previous owner, who judging by my condition at the time, didn`t treat me too well. I then thought I had found my furever home and was living happily and comfortably for almost a year. Unfortunately life threw in another wrench and I found myself back in a kennel. Although I am not very young, I have plenty of pep and love to play and interact with people. I am very affectionate and want nothing more than companionship. I do still need some help with housetraining and controlling my exuberance. I can get a bit too excited and inappropriately mouthy, so any kids in the home need to be 13 and older. I have shown some reactivity toward other dogs, but may be able to make friends with proper introduction. I am not sure how I feel about cats but I am willing to try as well. I deserve to find a family that will keep me safe and comfortable, and provide love.
