My story

    Hi! I am Brindle Bella. I am 4 years old and weigh 30lbs. My foster mom likes to call me Princess Potato. I like to be treated like a princess- I like your attention, and I claim the couch as my throne. And, well, they say I kinda look like a potato, but. I don’t see the resemblance. Yes, I need to lose around 10lbs and I can’t walk too far without having to stop and lay down. I can’t really do stairs, either. I am starting to learn to go up them, though. Just too scared to try going down them yet. I love, love, love attention. My foster mom says I have a lot of personality. I like to look in her eyes when she talks to me, and I talk to her by whining or whimpering. I am learning to use a leash, but it kinda scares me. I am good with other dogs-big, small, male, female. I am house-trained and don’t need a crate when you are gone. I don’t like a house with a lot of activity and guests in and out because it makes me feel a little anxious. I need a family that: 1. Will let me claim my throne on the couch 2. Sleep in the bed with you 3. Make me the center of their world 4. Is patient and gentle. I am sensitive and timid.  5. Will commit to feeding me a good quality food in the right portions to help me lose weight and stay healthy 6.
