My story

Hi! My name is Bambi and I am a Priority Pet, and I’ve already come such a long way in my journey. Before my foster family found me, I was scavenging for food in the woods, just trying to survive. I was skin and bones at only 20 pounds, but now I’m a strong, healthy 45-pound girl with a full heart and a lot of love to give.I’ve got a spunky, playful spirit and love roughhousing with bigger male dogs. I’m not a fan of cats or small animals (or little dogs, if I’m honest), so I’d do best in a home without them. Older kids are great though—I just forget how big I am sometimes!I’m crate trained, potty trained, and a world-class snuggler. I’m also a bit of a goofball and full of energy. I do love to shred soft things (it’s kind of my thing), so when you leave, I’m happiest in my crate with a blanket—not a bed, trust me on that.I’ve been through a lot, and I’m still learning to trust the world again, but if you’re looking for a loyal, playful, protective girl who just wants a second chance, I might be the one for you.
