My story

Location: Sioux Falls, SD Atlanta AKA Taylor is a year and half old! Her DNA testing determined that she’s 25.6% American Pit Bull Terrier, 22.3% American Bully, 20.6% American Staffordshire Terrier, 12.9% Supermutt, 10.5% Labrador Retriever, and 8.1% Siberian Husky. She’s a very strong and healthy girl!! She’s been with us for almost a year and has learned quite a bit! She’s housebroken, kennel trained, knows basic commands, and is calm and patient when waiting for a meal or treats. She loves to snuggle, be outdoors, lay in the sun, alone time, and couch time. She moves cautiously, scares easily and she’s a bed hog! She’s also very excitable when guests arrive. We have a fenced yard but she will run when given the opportunity of no boundaries. We’ve been working on building her confidence and sharpening her response to basic commands. When Taylor came to us we already had a dog and two cats. She interacts well with all of them! When we have to leave the house, she recognizes the cues and goes to her kennel and waits for the “KONG” treat that she only gets when kenneled. She also loves antlers, sweet potato chews, yogurt and peanut butter, however her favorite treats are the meatballs (cookies) that we make with ground beef and brown rice! -------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
