My story

Looking for a retirement buddy who still has some pep in her step? This seasoned, well-behaved queen may be just what you need! Nefertiti came to us after being abandoned in an eviction and is ready to live the good life after being in the shelter for over a year. She did get adopted once and while her new person really liked her playful personality, he decided he was unable to care for her properly and brought her back. But that hasn’t stopped “Neffie” from being a sweet, gentle, and affectionate soul who loves to be outside and explore, play tug-of-war, chase lizards and get ear scratches. Housebroken and quiet, she already knows several commands and would probably do ok with another older or mellow dog who gives her space. This dog is true royalty—come meet her today!
