Here are some of her wonderful traits: 1. Exceptionally Smart: When it’s mealtime, Rochester will remind you with her adorable meows and even roll over for a belly rub while begging. Once she's been gently scolded for certain behaviors, like jumping on tables, nibbling plant leaves, or sneaking into slightly open rooms, she learns quickly and doesn’t repeat them. In the mornings, she won’t scratch at doors or loudly demand food — she waits patiently until she hears your alarm or you waking up, softly meowing only then. 2. Not a picky eater—she transitions to new food without fuss. 3. Plant-friendly—she won't chew on your greens, living harmoniously with house plants. 4. Furniture-friendly—she respects your furniture by keeping her scratching to her scratch pole. 5. Gentle and Sweet — she purrs and kneads instantly when petted. While she might hiss if startled, she doesn’t scratch or bite and is comfortable with having her nails trimmed. 6. Brave and adventurous — she loves exploring different areas of the house and doesn't shy away by staying hidden in her hut. 7. A lover - she has been around a bunch of other cats her entire life and would love to go to a home with a friendly feline or to be adopted out with one of her cat friends at ARF, like Champaign!   Rocheser is eagerly waiting to find a loving home that values her unique personality and adorable quirks. Rochester is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations,  spayed, and litter box trained.
