My story

Abbey is shy in new environments and takes some time to get comfortable, but once she knows she can trust you, she is the sweetest companion! Abbey is not demanding of attention and is a rather "low maintenance" kind of kitty. When she's not enjoying a nap in a sunny window, she is happy just being near the people she loves. Abbey is a rather petite kitty (her tiny feet are so adorable!), so she will do best as an only kitty or in a home with other gentle pets who are shy. *** To apply to adopt one of our animals, please visit our website at http://www.cjpaws.org and go to the Adoptions page. *** Pets can be viewed by appointment only, and an approved application is required to meet one of our animals. It can take up to 24 hours to respond to your application, plus an additional 1-2 business days for approval. Not all applications will be approved. Incomplete applications will not be approved. Please include all veterinary information, as we will be contacting your veterinarian. If you have never had a pet and do not have an established vet in the area or in an area where you previously lived, we recommend adopting from your local Animal Services. Our adoption fee covers spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, monthly flea medication while in our rescue, any medications while in our rescue, an FIV/FeLV test, and the unconditional love of your new family member. Our rescue does not continue to pay for flea medication, vaccinations, deworming, or any other medications after the animal is adopted. All costs and fees accrued after adoption are the responsibility of the new family.
