My story

Microchipped, DOB: Nov 23, 2013 Meet the distinguished Professor Plum, a senior Persian cat whose age is no match for the vibrant spirit that defines him. Plum exudes a timeless charm and a regal demeanor that immediately captures the hearts of those fortunate enough to cross his path. He craves cuddles and attention and will curl up right next to you whether you are working at your computer, or in your cozy bed. He is a true companion cat! Full of life and curiosity, Professor Plum approaches each day with a sense of wonder and enthusiasm. You can find him playing with his favourite toy, the feather on a string toy, or curled up dreaming on the couch, meowing for his breakfast, or making tiny coo-ing noises to himself. Professor Plum's mature demeanor comes with the added benefit of a calm and composed temperament. He is a seasoned companion who appreciates the finer moments in life, (like lying around purring when you pet him!) making him an ideal furry friend for someone seeking the warmth and companionship that an older cat can uniquely provide. He would do wonderful with a lively household with young children, and even with other pets. He gets along with dogs! Professor Plum deserves to live out his many years left in his forever him to share his unconditional love. Not to mention, he has this beautiful coat, that seemingly doesn't shed (it’s currently winter but no hairs are left anywhere!). A magical cat indeed! Professor Plum will let you know when he wants to be fed. He will meow twice a day for his breakfast and dinner! He gives 'love bites', so little nips when he is pet in a certain way and a certain spot as if he is playing, but he does them gently so you learn what he likes and what he 'love bite' likes. Funny quirk: Plum seems to almost talk to himself - he will do his musing, just sighing to himself sometimes as he looks out the window. So much to think about. We will miss the epic cuddles that Professor Plum brought us every day while we’ve been lucky enough to foster him! Thank you for welcoming a senior cat into your family - an adoption fee of your choice is appreciated, vs. our standard adult cat adoption fee of $200.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Professor Plum, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
